Editorial and AI-use policy
Last updated
Guides on this site are drafted by the Bitpanda Research Team, reviewed by compliance before publication, sourced to regulators and primary documents, dated when changed, and never published from an AI-assisted draft without a fact-check by a named person.
Who writes and who reviews
Guides in Bitpanda Academy carry a team byline today: written by the Bitpanda Research Team, reviewed by the Head of Compliance.
That byline is a placeholder. Before a guide is published it will name its author and its reviewer, and each name will link to a profile page with role, qualifications and outside links that let you check them. Reviewers come from compliance, legal or a qualified investment role. The companies behind the site are described on the page about Bitpanda.
Sources and fact-checking
Primary sources come first: the text of a regulation, a regulator's register, and our own fee and limits pages. Every number has a source and the date it was read. For each guide we keep a fact-check log with four fields: claim, source, date, checker.
Pages about fees, limits, rewards and regulation are checked against their sources every 30 days and reviewed in full every 90 days. The three guides on this site follow these rules:
- Guide: how to buy Bitcoin in Europe
- Guide: MiCA-licensed crypto exchanges
- Guide: crypto broker vs exchange
Use of AI tools
AI tools may help to draft or edit text, titles, descriptions and structured data. Nothing AI-assisted is published until a named person has checked every fact against its source and approved the page; that person's name and the date are stored for each page. We do not use AI to produce pages at scale, and we publish no AI-generated quotes, people or images. Where automation played a material part in a page, the page says so.
This concept site was drafted with AI assistance. It contains placeholders: team bylines, role names and items marked as to be confirmed. Each one must be replaced or confirmed by Bitpanda before publication.
Corrections, updates and commercial interest
When a fact is corrected, the page gets a dated note that says what changed. Numbers are never edited silently, and the "Updated" date moves only when the content changes.
Bitpanda sells the products these guides describe and earns fees when you trade. The guides are for information only and are not investment advice.
